Can you believe it! Only two more weekends to see my show before I have to take it down already! Crazy to think about how fast it’s gone by. It’s been a very good run though. I almost sold all of my pottery. Plus, some of my paintings too, which is absolutely heartwarming. Not just for the obvious reason, but what better compliment than people wanting to bring my work into their home?

Anyway, the reason I am writing is that I want to remind people about the upcoming event POPOVERS & POETRY at Rosalux Gallery. It is happening on Saturday, September 30, 10 am. There will be a poetry reading by local poet Sun Yung Shin and Eric Lorberer, followed by a brief-ish conversation between the three of us. Pastries & morning grounds will be there as well, to make everybody awake and satiated, all the better to listen to the poetry. The event is part of Twin Cities Art Week, which will run from September 27 to October 1. Please check out all the other events at local galleries and museums. There are many treasures to be found.

Regular gallery hours after the event will give you time to linger & enjoy the work some more.
